1. Introduction
Hidden Camera Detector (HCD Meter) (“the App”) is designed solely to help users detect hidden cameras using their device’s sensors. We respect your privacy and want to be transparent — this app does not collect personal information like name, email, or location from you.

2. Data Collected by the App

  • No Personal Data Collection: The App does not prompt you to enter personal data (e.g., you don’t log in, we don’t ask for your name or email).

  • No Sensitive User Data: We do not store or send any sensitive personal data (contacts, photos, location, etc.) from you.

3. Use of Google AdMob
Although the App itself does not collect your personal information, we use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to show ads. According to Google’s documentation, the SDK automatically collects certain types of data for ad serving, analytics, and fraud prevention:

  • IP address (to estimate location) 

  • Device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID) 

  • Diagnostic / performance information (crash logs, app launch, energy usage) 

  • User interactions related to ads (e.g., taps)

We do not control all the data the AdMob SDK collects, but you should know that this is happening under the hood.

4. Why That Data Is Collected

  • To serve relevant ads to you

  • To analyze ad performance and app performance

  • To prevent fraud or abuse

5. Data Sharing
The data collected by the AdMob SDK may be shared with Google (and its partners), as this is part of how Google serves and optimizes ads. We don’t sell your personal data.

6. Data Retention

  • We do not store any personal data ourselves.

  • The data collected by the AdMob SDK is managed by Google, per their policies.

7. Security
Because we don’t collect or store personal user data ourselves, our risk is limited in that area. However, AdMob’s transmissions are protected (the SDK uses encrypted transport).

8. Children
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or other relevant age in your region). We don’t knowingly collect any personal information from children.

9. Your Rights
Since we don’t collect personal data, there is limited personal data we can delete on request. However, if you have concerns or want to opt out of personalized ads:
